- Aldernic: An umbrella term for those who have, or want to have, a body that deviates from what they currently have in some form; a broad identity label that exclusively pertains to your body. Not exclusive to alterhumanity, but warrants a mention due to usage within the community.

Add-Ons, Unofficial Flags / Symbols, etc.
- Extranthrope: A nonhuman member of a system. This term, often shortened to extranth, was coined by the Tumblr user @neutrois-lesbadger in 2018. In 2022, I made a proposed, unofficial flag and symbol for the term, which can be found here.
- Kardiatype: A past life that- while still being very important to an individual's identity- is not something they still identify as in this life. This was coined by Tumblr user @angelic-polar-fox in 2020, and is also called an empeiríatype. In 2022, I proposed an unofficial set of symbols for the term, and they can be found here.
- Nonhuman: A long-standing term for someone who is not a human (as opposed to alterhuman, which may encompass things such as fictional human characters.) In 2022, I created my own proposal for a nonhuman symbol, which can be found here.
