About Vesility

Vesil is an umbrella term for something that in some way affects many or all areas of someone's identity. Someone whose gender, orientation, alterhumanity, etc. is influenced or defined or affected by outer space, for example, would be vesil. The term was created with the intention of having a blanket term; one that could simplify having a very broad identification with something on multiple levels, or explain the way someone's identity is intertwined with itself.

Someone might feel like their vesility influences all or many aspects of their identity, it could define their identity, it could be their entire identity itself, alongside many other possible interpretations. You do not have to specifically identify yourself as a microlabel in order for it to "count" (ie, you don't need to specifically be "spacegender," "spacekin," etc. to be spacevesil, it simply needs to connect aspects of yourself in some way.)

Vesil is not always connected to alterhumanity, nor does it have to inherently be connected to any one particular sect of someone, like gender identity. If something is connected to any different facets of yourself, it may be considered a part of vesility. That being said, Vesil is used often enough in the alterhuman community to warrant an explanation of it.

Here are some examples of what can be considered Vesil, in an effort to hopefully make it easy to understand. My words can be flowery and dense sometimes, so here goes!

  • Someone's gender identity affecting their sexuality, or vice versa.

  • Someone's alterhumanity affecting other aspects of their identity.

  • Having a specific thing that defines all aspects or yourself, or defines you as a whole.

Here is where you can find the flag and symbol used for Vesil.
