asking for posterity's sake: are saphe and vesbian synonyms?
if going by the original definition, they seem to be. both appear to mean “being a lesbian but in a nonbinary / genderqueer / etc. way.” the only main difference i can see is that vesbian was made to fit in with terms like gai and strayt, as an equivalent for lesbians. but like, that’s mostly just semantics and has nothing to do with any kind of actual different experience between the two. i don’t really feel entirely comfortable saying “my term and someone else’s term are synonyms!” without the other coiner also having a say on it, though. i’m also slightly confused on the fact that their term does seem to come from “sapphic,” but only describes it as being for lesbians. but you’d have to ask them about that for more clarity, not me!
Adding onto that, the wiki says saphe "unites" the two terms, but the post itself says it INCLUDES those terms. They also misspell it as sapphe... LOL

i actually already changed it to navichoric at one point, because it’s a kenochoric gender anyways, and an easy fix. i don’t think -aesic would work for it since it’s not an aesthetigender (if i understand that suffix right?) so using the new term is probably the way to go.

I think it would be fine to make an actual post for nilauto tbh! So long as you have credit on it
when things get recognition, you lose control over what happens. even if i included direct credit to the term it’s based on, after so many reposts, possible posts on wikis and other sites, through the game of telephone it could lose that credit extremely fast. i’ve seen it happen to other people, so i feel like it’d be in very poor taste to do when the term is so derivative of something else. yes, the term is really useful for me. yes, it might be useful for others- that’s why i bother posting about it at all (besides just having a place to talk about it.) but i would implode in on myself if it ended up getting too much traction and all those fears i mentioned came true. i would feel horrible forever and then melt and simmer like an egg on a hotplate. so i keep it all untagged and on the down-low so it stays small, and never even remotely comes close to “well-known.” since. you know. it’s mostly just for me, anyways.
it’s possible i’m being waaaaaay too paranoid about it. and that it’s totally fine to do with credit. i do have very, very bad paranoia and moral ocd. but i’d rather be safe (and respectful) than sorry down the line.

Oh god, I highly doubt she’d be able to do that! Honestly, I don’t think anybody in our system is up for the task of re-posting everything in their own remade posts.
But I think our host said she would like to repost a good deal of her old stuff. Mainly the stuff she wants around again- if she sees it, and was like “oh yeah that was cool,” she might make a new post for it eventually. It is not on a schedule, she isn’t exactly bustling to make it happen or anything- it’s more of a “oh I just saw that and I want it to have a live link again, so I’m gonna do that now!” sporadic type of thing!
You can always ask her to repost something, too! I won’t guarantee that she absolutely will, but I think in 99% of cases she would have no issue with it. : )
I really like the idea of making a spectrum of selfhood that goes in the other direction from plurality, having less "self" than a singlet instead of more. I think that could be used in a way to describe a bunch of different experiences linked together in the same way plurality is, like with how plurality has many variations and forms and can come from different things like CDDs, nilauto can be the same. But above all else I'm just so happy someone knows about self-disorders 😭
i have some pretty good friends who are schizospec, that’s how i know about self disorders! i always found it relatable to me in a lot of ways, even though i don’t think i’m schizospec (stpd is possible, but like, i don’t think i could know that without at the very least way more serious study, or finally going to a fucking doctor like i’m so scared to do)

is it possible to use two different themes? like could i use the rentry one for my main page but then also use the laundry theme on a different page with a link? or do things have to all be the same theme?
oh you can very easily use both. on your index.html (your homepage) you import the rentry-ish theme, then you make a new page and call it whatever you want . html, and you import the code from the laundry theme onto that. then you just have to link them together and they’ll work as separate pages on the same site.

No uh, the rumors were not about ezgender. That wasn't what I was getting at. Ez made that blocklist and spread rumors about other people without actually verifying all of it. Nobody should be making a public blocklist with an easily accessible list of everything wrong someone's done because it can't be taken down unless the person decides they want to be gracious enough to do so. While Ez took his blocklist down, it encouraged other people to make their own compiled list of "problematic behavior" which included rumors Ez had started. But then when he was called out for being problematic himself, he blamed it on his paranoia and decided "Oops! Ez is actually a headmate and he disappeared!" He felt absolved of his behavior after that and then got to vanish off of Tumblr entirely, while people dragged into his shit are still being called out ("Did you know so-and-so is actually THIS blogger from back then?!" Childish shit.)

Thank you for not falling into the ezgender drama all over again (You can censor out the name if you want to.) Nobody deserves to have a bad past brought up again, especially when they were harassed by people who fell for nasty rumors about them. Some shit was true, don't get me wrong, but then there were unfounded claims thrown in the mix. It was a mess and I feel as though nobody involved got any kind of closure.
yeah, god. nobody deserved what happened to them, and it really sucks they never got any proper resolution. it just kind of… ended, one day, and for some people it was after years of harassment. i’m just glad it’s over, and i hope the community has since learned to not let someone run wild with that kind of power / influence over others.

How is polarisal kenochoric?
any space-related gender can be kenochoric.
so can any null, empty, void, or liminal gender experience. so can, quite literally, any uingender [obscurian is one of the first big kenochoric umbrellas i ever made, and it’s pretty much a synonym to uingender.] any darkness or obscurity / “unknown”-related genders. vague genders. distorted or “wrong” genders. i could continue on. if you can feasibly tie the thing into some kind of concept that feels kenous to you, then it can be a kenochord, from gendervoid to polarisal to hadalic to obscurian. this is why i always scream “it’s vibes-based” from the rooftops.
saying “space is big” feels like an insult with how much of an understatement it is. it’s confusing. vast. unknown, directionless. makes you feel tiny, contains things so gargantuan we can’t comprehend them. unfathomably dark and empty. we even have a whole word to describe things that are so incredibly huge: “astronomical.” space is so, soooo kenous.
keep in mind that just because someone uses a kenochord does not mean they must identify with the term kenochoric itself, or experience it in a kenoine way. it just means “hey, this term fits the vibe of kenochoric, so it can be a kenochord.” things coined to be kenochords should be… well, kenochords, definitionally speaking, but there’s a big difference between that and how you as an individual will relate to or use it.
this is why i am some terms that were obviously coined to be xenogenders, but still don’t consider myself to be xenogender. i do not experience xeninity, even when i’m using what’s supposed to be a xenogender. instead, i experience them as kenochords. they fit the vibe, so they count. i don’t experience a tangible “xenicness,” so i don’t consider them “xenogenders” for me, personally. they should still be categorized as such, but broad categories vs. personal usage will never be a perfect match.

oooh, my favorite bird? i love barn owls, but i think i would have to go with either albatross, or chickadees. my hometown has so many chickadees, i would wake up to them in the early morning and hear them wake up with the sunrise…. i also of course love mourning doves for very similar reasons. vultures are really cool, i got to feed one at an enclosure once. and, of course, albatross are very cool. one of my favorites for sure. they’re just so… large, and beautiful, and the way they can fly so very far… and how it’s bad luck to hurt or kill one, of course. i find them a little mysterious but in a lovely way. also love snowy owls and great horned owls. i really, really like birds, i think i could go on for ages.
hummingbirds are so cute… my mom used to have a little nectar feeder hanging outside in the garden behind our old apartment, and i’d sit there and just watch them zip around, impressed over how quick and precise their movements were.. and their long little beaks? adorable.
a shame for that small portion of hummingbirds who haven’t gotten to hear the new machine girl single, someone give them a break so they can go listen. :(

oh yeah of course! in some of them, i combined purple and orange/yellow, because they’re using the same palette as the kenochoric and maverique flags respectively. the one using reddish pink, meanwhile, is me using a sort of “combined” or mixed color that could be seen as a gradient in-between the two individual color schemes.
the reason for the symbol is because it’s a splicing of both the kenochoric symbol, and the maverique symbol. it has the rings from the kenochoric symbol and they both go out at the middle, but they curve at the ends and have a dot in the middle like the maverique symbol does.

i think that’s cool, but i also think it’d confuse people, especially since “chorus” isn’t a plural word on its own. for instance, kenochorim is sometimes used to describe multiple kenochoric people, but that’s because -im is a plural suffix, like how seraphim is. honestly for the time being, i think kenochords is just the most easy way to word it, though i’m not opposed to there being a potential plural term later down the road

it never got officially coined i don’t think, but someone in my system has been identifying as “kenomav” for a while now, and it sounds pretty similar to what ey were talking about.
