idk how controversial this is but we never should’ve ceded ground on the whole “sex vs gender” thing with cis people tbh
just saw a trans guy on reddit say that he doesn’t like it when people tell him he was “born female” because he feels like he has always been male only for a bunch of insufferable nerds to come out of the woodwork like “technically sex and gender are different and you have a vagina therefore you are female” like how is that not just regular misgendering
i keep seeing people in the tags like “some trans people are intersex” and that’s true and im glad people are pointing it out but i want to make it clear that calling a perisex trans man “female” or a perisex trans woman “male” is also incorrect and transphobic.
