transmisogyny runs on apathy. never forget this.
the fundamental truth that underpins every one of these harassment campaigns is that it is always easier to discard a transfem than it is to tangibly support her. the people who run these campaigns are depending on you to burn bridges with whoever they tell you to, because it then enables them to do whatever they want to their targets with minimal pushback.
it’s easy for transfems to support our sisters, because it’s in our own self-interest. but nothing will really improve until the rest of the trans community makes an explicit effort to stand with us. this will come at great expense to them; they will lose their priveleges as an assimilated queer, and there will be almost no benefit to them. but regardless, it must be done.
