imagine if someone who actually had the time and resources made a mastodon instance for tumblr refugees. or something. call it hellsite.social or some awesome shit like that. mastodon is good in theory, but i fear it is mostly people twice my age talking about computer programming. which don’t get me wrong. is very cool. #linux #foss. but i want to be somewhere a little more…. weird and wacky like tumblr is
i mean or there could be a massive campaign to get a bunch of tumblr communities to mass migrate to mastodon and start sharing specific tags so we can all find each other. be the change you want to see in the world and all that. but telling people to “join mastodon” is like telling people to “jump into a vat of acid” or perhaps “install arch linux”
