i watched a video about white leftism (or in other terms white liberalism) and I can definitely relate my experiences to the topic, as a lot of white leftist haven’t deprogrammed their antiblackness and white supremacy from their minds along with how a lot of these people are extremely performative and don’t care to listen to black voices unless we water everything down to them under a relatable lense or another white person repeats it back to em.
it also touched upon how even among other leftist minority groups, poor, queer, etc, black folks are still treated significantly worse than their white peers.
and I’ve witnessed this with my own two eyes btw. I’ve argued and seen antiblackness from white “Marxist left leaning” types who I’m 100% sure are larpers and would piss themselves about how Malcolm X was actually a black radical extremist or whatever bullshit they can say and instantly deflect because they are on level one of being anti fash.
my thing is, I want white leftist to learn to boost and listen to black voices along with shutting the fuck up when it’s not your turn to speak.
i say, learn to talk to and meet more black people and understand us more.
