i remember back before i left the mogai community i had the most petty but realest pet peeve ever, which was the amount of people who would make inviane terms [which are described as only being able to be portrayed through an image, no description or definition besides the image itself!] and add descriptions or stuff like “may be connected to x, y, and z” like no!!! the whole point is it is ONLY the image. smdh you had one job [i say this lightheartedly. i am not Genuinely angry about this]
like someone’d coin one and be like “may be connected to these aesthetics or ideals” aha, but you see, you have been tricked! for images [and terminology let’s be honest] are all interpretive in nature, and you are unfortunately and unintentionally pushing your own biased interpretation of what you think the image means onto the term, thus muddying the entire point of an identity that can only be conveyed through an inherently interpretive medium [images]! you fool! you rapscallion! 10,000 years of darkness!!!
